Investigators say 20-year old Dylan Bunch of Corbin and 20-year old Jonathan Webster of Kingsport, Tennessee, had just been fired from a Columbus, Ohio-based company that reportedly fixes care packages for overseas troops. Deputies say the two men apparently kept material with the company’s name on it and were using it in the alleged scam.
Investigators say one customer at a local grocery mart gave a $50 cash donation. Both men were arrested and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center in London.
Investigators say Bunch was also charged on a Whitley County bench warrant of arrest after reportedly being dismissed from a rehab facility regarding charges of Assault 4th Degree and Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree.
