“Stop the Violence Lex” march to be held July 18

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A march will be held on July 18 for "Stop the Violence Lex."

According to the group’s facebook page, the march is a direct response to shootings around the Lexington area, and is a call-to-action for citizens to take an active stance against violence in the community.

The march will start at noon at William Wells Brown Elementary (555 E. 5th St.,) and will end on the Courthouse Lawn (120 N. Limestone.)
