Family of El-Amin asks for help finding his killer

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kwame El-Amine was shot on June 21, along with five others at attending the annual Dirt Bowl tournament at Douglass Park.
 
His family spoke at Police headquarters today, asking the public for help in finding the person responsible
 
Kwame’s finance will never know him as a husband, his children no longer have a father and we not longer have a brother and my parents no longer have a son.
Kwame’s death was quite simply a murder, committed in broad daylight with many, many witnesses and so we are asking the community for any help."

 
Police would not comment whether they had any more leads or not, but mentioned the four other shooting victims have since been released from the hospital.
