LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police were called to two accidents on I-75 today. One was in Fayette County, the other was in Scott County. Both of the collisions backed up traffic for miles.
Investigators say a camper overturned near mile marker 111 in Lexington, with people trapped inside. Firefighters say they’ve called for a second ambulance. According to the city, the accident has traffic backed up to Paris Pike.
Meanwhile, on I-75 northbound near mile marker 133 in Scott County, investigators say there has been a collision, with all the people involved taken to the hospital. Firefighters say a vehicle went down an embankment, into a tree. Investigators say the victims include 4 children, and 2 adults. No word yet on the extent of their injuries.
