FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) — EOS USA is bringing 150 jobs to Kentucky, Gov. Steve Beshear and Congressman Hal Rogers announced today.
EOS, a leading provider of accounts receivables management services and customer care, says they plan to also invest nearly $4 million into the project as they open a customer call center in Somerset. They said the planned 20,000-square-foot facility, on Valley Oak Drive, will be open before the end of the year.
“This is a significant boost to the economy here in eastern Kentucky,” said Gov. Beshear, adding “EOS USA will be a tremendous corporate partner to the Commonwealth, and I’m excited for its future in the region.”
“I want to thank EOS CCA for investing in the future of Somerset, Pulaski County and the Commonwealth,” said Somerset Mayor Eddie Girdler. “We will work very closely with EOS CCA in making locating in Somerset a highly profitable decision.”
The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority say they have approved EOS for tax incentives up to $2 million. This is a performance-based incentive, officials say, which allows a company to keep a portion of its investment by meeting job and investment targets.
