Bishop John Stowe was ordained this afternoon during a special mass at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Lexington.

Bishop Stowe is originally from Ohio.  He takes over for Bishop Ronald Gainer, who was transferred to a diocese in Pennsylvania.  The Lexington diocese is made up of 50 counties in central and eastern Kentucky.
