Madison Co. man convicted on drug charges sentenced

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Madison Co. man, convicted in a heroin conspiracy case, has been sentenced to ten years in federal prison.

U.S. District Judge Joseph Hood sentenced 39-year-old Neal Scott Stone and his girlfriend, Catherine Leake in the case.  Leake will serve 2 years for conspiring with Stone.  Stone was convicted on several drug charges including distributing heroin, and attempting to distribute cocaine.  Both must serve at least 85 percent of their prison sentence.
