LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Lexington family was welcomed into their new home Sunday afternoon, thanks to Habitat for Humanity.

Members of the Pat Smith family and volunteers dedicated the completed home to the Wilson family. O’Kescha Wilson and her 8-year-old son Quincy will be calling the renovated house their home.

Bank of America is credited with donating the property. To date, it’s donated more than 5,000 properties to more than 300 non-profit organizations.

"It’s like the most awesome thing ever. We’ve never owned our own home before, it’s our first time. I’m just extremely excited to be in this awesome neighborhood, living in this great house. Just really excited about everything," said Wilson.
