TRAFFIC ALERT: One lane of New Circle to close Saturday

Road Construction Ahead
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The state says drivers should expect to see a lane closure Saturday night on part of New Circle Road in Lexington.

According to the transportation cabinet, crews will reduce the right lane of the outer loop of southbound New Circle Road (KY 4) at the R.J. Corman central line bridge (mile point 6.5) from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The state says the closure is needed so that trucks can remove debris from the bridge demolition.

The state says this lane reduction is part of the New Circle Road widening and reconstruction project. Click here for the latest Kentucky traffic and travel information. You can also dial 511.
