Call for disaster relief volunteers in Paris

PARIS, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief has issued an urgent call for volunteers to help in flood recovery efforts in Paris, Kentucky.

Bourbon Co. Emergency Management says at least 20 homes were damaged after Stoner Creek rose to 27 feet in less than 12 hours Friday.  Emergency Management says that’s 2 feet above what is considered "major flood stage."

As of now, 15 volunteers and two chaplains have responded to the call, but a dozen more volunteers are still needed.
