LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — The University of Kentucky’s new provost is moving to that post next week from the College of Pharmacy.
UK President Eli Capilouto announced this week that Pharmacy Dean Tim Tracy will begin as provost next Wednesday.
Tracy previously served more than a year as interim provost.
Capilouto said in an email to campus that Tracy would work to strengthen undergraduate student retention and graduation and graduate and professional education efforts as well as other projects.
Tracy replaces Christine Riordan, who was chosen as the next president of Adelphi University in New York.
