LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say two homes were broken into and a car stolen in Lexington on Wednesday morning. Officers say the crimes may be related.
According to investigators, a home on Seeley Drive was burglarized around 3:45 a.m. Police say when they got there, a white Acura was speeding away from the home. The homeowner says someone kicked in the back door and came inside, according to police. Officers say they took off when they heard the homeowners.
Investigators believe the white Acura seen speeding off was stolen from Bridgeport Drive. Police tell ABC 36 News three people kicked in the back door of that home, stole the Acura keys and left in it.
No one was hurt in these burglaries. Police say they are still searching for the suspects.
