Michael Bruner
LAUREL CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – The sheriff’s office in Laurel Co. is reporting the arrest of 39 year-old Michael "Bruno" Bruner, a man who was recently placed on their "Most Wanted" list.

According to deputies, Bruner was at a family’s home about 7 miles west of London.  Investigators say Jacob and Julie Grove were allowing Bruner to stay there, along with the couple’s 5 year-old daughter.  Authorities say they found scales, a glass pipe, and a spoon with burn marks in the home.

Deputies arrested Bruner, as well as Jacob and Julie Groves on multiple charges.  All three were taken to the Laurel Co. Detention Center.

Investigators say that on January 25, Bruner refused to pull over for deputies on U.S. 25, north of London. According to the sheriff’s office, Bruner led authorities on a chase that exceeded 100 miles per hour.  Deputies say the pursuit went across Ky 1956 and Ky 80.

Investigators say Bruner was wanted on a drug indictment warrant, as well as a parole violation warrant. The sheriff’s office says Bruner is also accused of claiming unemployment benefits while incarcerated at the Laurel County Detention Center.
