Jobless rates drop in Fayette, and across Commonwealth

Unemployment Rate
The Kentucky Office of Employment and Training says unemployment rates in all Kentucky counties dropped between December of 2013 and December 2014.  In addition, the agency says rates have dropped in every county four out of the last five months.

Scott and Woodford counties recorded the lowest jobless rates at 3.7 percent each.  They were followed by Fayette Co., boasting a 3.8 percent unemployment rate.  Magoffin Co. posted the highest jobless rate in the state at 11.3 percent.
