RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Kelley Paul, the wife of U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, is kicking off a six-stop speaking tour to Republican women’s clubs around Kentucky.
Kelley Paul is previewing her new book, "True and Constant Friends," which is scheduled to be published in April. She began the tour Tuesday in her hometown of Russellville.
Paul spoke of the inspiration she received from her grandmother, Julia O’Toole, who emigrated from Ireland in 1929. She said she was pleased to make her first stop in Russellville, because several in attendance knew her late grandmother.
Later on Tuesday, Paul spoke in Bowling Green and had speeches planned in London and Tompkinsville on Wednesday. On Thursday, she wraps up the tour in Lexington and Elizabethtown.
