The Boyle County Sheriff’s Office said there were two separate car accidents within two and a half hours of each other Tuesday afternoon that left one man dead.

Investigators said Harrison Hardin suffered some kind of medical emergency behind the wheel while driving along U.S. 150 around 2:00 p.m.

Investigators said Hardin drove on the median and hit a concrete culvert.

Hardin died in the crash.  A small child in a child safety seat was not hurt, according to investigators.

Then, around 4:30 p.m., a pickup truck ran into a ditch, flipped and ejected the passenger along KY 300, according to investigators.

The names of the two people in the pickup were not confirmed.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
