Judge To Hear Steve Nunn’s Request To Withdraw Guilty Plea

A former Kentucky lawmaker sentenced to life in prison was granted a hearing to argue his request to withdraw his guilty plea.

Steve Nunn is contesting his 2011 plea to killing his ex-fiance Amanda Ross.

Ross was shot to death in 2009 outside of her home in Lexington.

Nunn spent about 15 years in the state Legislature and is the son of a former Kentucky governor.

Fayette Circuit Judge Pamela Goodwine set the hearing for October 30th.
