LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — Federal prosecutors in Lexington have been paid a visit from U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, who has been trying to visit every U.S. attorney’s office during his tenure.
U.S. attorney’s office spokesman Kyle Edelen told the Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/1v1qZsX ) that Holder "addressed the office" during his stop there Friday. Edelen declined to provide further details.
The Washington Post reported earlier this week that Holder had visited 90 of the 93 U.S. attorney’s offices in the country and expected to visit two more this week, in Louisville and Lexington.
The U.S. attorney’s office in Louisville did not immediately respond to an email Friday night.
