Officials said around a minute or two after she was hit by the first car, a minivan began to approach. The nurse and another man tried to get the driver’s attention, but were unable to, according to police.

We’re told Williams was then struck by the minivan and dragged around 100 feet before the driver stopped.

Firefighters said they had to use airbags to lift the vehicle off of her. Williams was then taken to UK Hospital, where she died, according to the Coroner.

Police said the traffic light appeared to be green at the time of the accident, but are still investigating.

No charges have currently been filed against either of the drivers.
