Part Of Hamburg Pavilion Sold For Millions

A big chunk of Hamburg Pavilion has been sold in what is believed to be the biggest land transaction in the history of Fayette County.

The Fayette County PVA said all the stores north of Sir Barton Way, except target and its parking lot, as well as some land that hasn’t been developed yet, was bought by a partnership involving Starwood Capital Group.
The PVA said the seller was fourth quarter properties.

The price was185.7 million dollars. The sale also includes stores along Star Shoot Parkway and buildings between Pavilion Way and Man O’ War.

Hamburg was developed when Preston and Anita Madden sold part of their horse farm in 1997.
