Shortly before 6 Friday morning, officers were notified of a robbery on Highway 3189.
When they got there, they said the home’s owner, along with two neighbors, had the robber pinned to the ground in the yeard.
Investigators said 34-year-old Anthony Alcorn had walked up to the home as the owner was letting his pet outside. That’s when the owner reportedly noticed a laser pointed at his house.
As he was shutting the door, the victim said he heard someone shout "Police!" and was ordered to open the door.
Alcorn allegedly forced his way in and started firing the BB gun at the owner.
When the victim noticed the robber was only armed a BB gun, he reportedly grabbed a real gun and chased Alcorn out of his home and into the yard, where neighbors helped pin him down.
Alcorn was charged with robbery, burglary, assault, and impersonating an officer.
He was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
