A push to get Kentucky smoke-free is picking up steam as 65 percent of adults now support a potential smoke-free law.

A new bill recently introduced by State Representative Susan Westrom (D-Lexington) and Sen. Julie Denton (R-Louisville) would make all public areas, including restaurants, bars and workplaces, clear of secondhand smoke.

Governor Steve Beshear voiced his support for the bill shortly after it was announced.
