The company said Thursday it will close the current store on March 15th.
The building will be torn down around April 1st.
Kroger said the the new store will be 86,000 square feet.
It will also include a rooftop garage for expanded parking.
The company hopes to open the store by the end of the year.
Kroger said during construction, the 125 employees at the Euclid Avenue location will be offered jobs at other area stores.
