A fire that destroyed an apartment at the Racquet Club early Sunday morning was set intentionally, according to the Lexington Fire Department.
They said the fire broke out around 2:30, and although the apartment was vacant, there were other people living around it.
Fortunately, firefighters said a water pipe in the kitchen kept the flames from spreading even faster.
