The Boyle County Emergency Management Director said almost all of the tornado sirens are working after testing them this afternoon.
Director Mike Wilders said 17 of the 19 sirens are working again after a test Friday afternoon.
They tested them because the weather sirens didn’t sound during a tornado warning last Sunday night.
Wilders said the issue on Sunday was a glitch in the radio system used to disperse the signal.
He said the early warning system is back to operational standards.
