Mary Venezie tells ABC 36 it’s the most she has seen the group struggle in her 23 years at the home.
The Florence Crittenton Home is shutting its doors for good later this month.
It serves as a safe haven for women and girls facing single pregnancy and parenthood, abuse, and neglect.
The 6 girls and 4 babies still at the facility will be relocated by their social workers when the closing takes place on November 26.
A school on the property which serves the girls staying at the home will also shut down.
Any pregnant teen who attends Fayette County Public Schools was also able to attend the school.
