They’ve rolled out a specialty design, approved by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, that will eventually be an option for Kentucky drivers when they renew or get new plates.
First, the organization needs to get 900 commitments in order for KY DOT to produce the plate.
Cure KY Kids is a non-profit based in Kentucky that raises money for childhood cancer research and services, and also supports kids dealing with cancer and their families.
Proceeds from the sale of the license plate would help continue those efforts.
