From now until September 30th, they’re asking Kentucky elementary, middle, and high school students to submit their ideas to promote the importance of removing litter from Kentucky roadways.
The best works of art will be a part of the 2014 Adopt-a-Highway Calendar.

"Through this program, the cabinet hopes to increase environmental awareness and stewardship among children and to bring about change in attitudes and behaviors with respect to littering," said Transportation Secretary Mike Hancock.
