The Fayette County Coroner has released the name of the man police said was shot to death during an attempted armed robbery.

It happened on West Second Street between Broadway and Jefferson Street on April 6, 2013.
Lexington Police said a man with a gun approached another man who was sitting in his car in an attempt to rob him. That’s when police said the man being held up shot the would-be robber. The suspect is now identified as Reginald Howard, 54, of Lexington.
The official cause of death is multiple gunshot wounds.
No charges have been filed. Lexington Police are still investigating.
