That means conditions have the potential to threaten the normal availability of drinking water supply sources.
Kentucky American Water says despite the list of counties, their customers in Fayette County are under no water conservation watch.
They say the construction of their latest water treatment plant in Owen County back in October of 2010 has alleviated any potential water shortages Fayette County could have.
They say along with their stations on the Kentucky River, the reservoirs throughout Lexington are almost guaranteed to assure Fayette County will never have a water shortage.
Kentucky American Water says they also serve nine other counties, and that all of those customers also do not have any water restriction.
