Thanks for the reality check. So many are not educated about the APBT to know that the myths are just that...MYTHS! Thanks you for educating. However, your statement regarding the American Pit Bull Terrier being the only true pit bull is incorrect. The American Kennel Club decided to accept the APBT into its registry in 1936 but voted to choose another name to use because of the "pit" connotation.
