With heat indices expected to hit near 100-degrees Tuesday and Wednesday, the city of Lexington is opening the Dunbar Community Center on North Upper Street as a cooling center and cutting admission prices to city pools and aquatic centers.

With the temperatures getting back to 100 degrees Friday, Lexington plans to keep its Cooling Center open a while longer.
