Lexington Police recaptured jail escapee Woodrow Gibbins Thursday afternoon on Cross Keys Road, according to the Fayette County Detention Center. The jail said he didn't return from a court-ordered medical pass on Wednesday.

An inmate from the Laurel County Jail who walked away from work detail Thursday is back in custody.

Authorities said Friday that they are still looking for Pike County jail escapee Jeremiah Young. Police said he walked away from his work release detail on Thursday.
