Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried took part in a portion of Friday's practice, though the second-year pro remains a likely game-time decision for the team's Western Conference quarterfinal opener on Saturday.

The Nuggets termed Faried, who sat out the club's last two regular-season outings with a sprained left ankle he sustained last Sunday against Portland, as a limited participant in Friday's session. His status will be re-evaluated prior to Saturday's Game 1 matchup against Golden State from the Pepsi Center.

"I feel physically better," Faried told the Nuggets' official site on Thursday. "I can walk without a boot. I can walk barefoot now. It's just getting better and better each day. Like I've said, if I can walk, I can play, so I'm just going to see how good the tape job is when game time comes."

Faried started all 80 of his appearances during the regular season and led Denver with an average of 9.2 rebounds per game. The 23-year-old also averaged 11.5 points while shooting 55.2 percent from the field.
