Englewood, CO (Sports Network) - Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller talked to the media for the first time since his pending four-game suspension.

Miller is facing a four-game ban for violating league policy. The case is currently under appeal.

The Denver Post reported Monday that Miller tested positive for amphetamines and marijuana in 2011.

Miller was asked Wednesday, on the eve of Denver's training camp, if smoking marijuana was part of his life. The linebacker answered, "Absolutely not."

The 24-year-old Miller had little to say on his possible four-game suspension.

"Out of respect for confidentiality and out of respect for this being an ongoing situation, I can't really touch on further details about it," Miller said.

Denver coach John Fox said Miller will get every rep with the first team until the Broncos receive any official word about the linebacker's status.

Miller was the second overall pick in the 2011 draft. The Texas A&M product recorded 64 tackles and 11 1/2 sacks in his rookie season and was named the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year.

The 24-year-old Miller built on his impressive rookie campaign by posting 68 tackles and 18 1/2 sacks in 2012.

The Broncos face the Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles in the first four weeks of the 2013 season.
