Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - United States national team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann was forced to replace injured defender Omar Gonzalez with Michael Orozco on his team's roster for the final two CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers.

Gonzalez suffered a hip strain while playing with the Los Angeles Galaxy last weekend in a 5-0 win over Chivas USA and had to be substituted at halftime, paving the way for Orozco to be recalled.

Orozco featured at right back in last month's 3-1 defeat to Costa Rica, but he has also spent time in the middle of defense and could start alongside Matt Besler in Friday's match with Jamaica.

The Americans have already secured a place at the 2014 World Cup and will conclude qualifying at Panama on Oct. 15.
