Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced on Friday that the club has waived defender Martin Bonjour.
The 27-year-old joined Vancouver last January after playing four seasons in Uruguay, and he scored one goal in 31 games for the 'Caps.
Bonjour also helped to anchor a Vancouver back line that conceded the third- fewest goals in the Western Conference last season.
