Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Penguins have reached an agreement with center Brandon Sutter, the team's lone remaining restricted free agent, on a two-year contract.

Sutter, who scored five goals and had a plus-seven rating during Pittsburgh's 13 games of this most recent postseason, will earn a total of $6.6 million over the life of the pact.

The strong two-way forward posted 13 goals and 13 assists over 81 regular- season contests in 2013-14, his second season with the Penguins since being acquired from Carolina as part of the trade that sent center Jordan Staal to the Hurricanes.

Sutter also led the Penguins with three shorthanded goals, a number that tied for fifth in the league last season.

Over six overall NHL campaigns, Sutter has accumulated 77 goals and 75 assists and has missed only one game over the past four seasons.
