Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings activated defenseman Matt Greene from injured reserve on Thursday.

Greene has missed the last 42 games after suffering a mid-body injury in the Kings' opener Jan. 19 against Chicago.

The 29-year-old had four goals and 11 assists in 82 games last season for Los Angeles, which starts a two-game homestand Thursday versus Columbus.
