Calgary, AB (Sports Network) - The Calgary Flames announced Friday that defenseman Dennis Wideman is day-to-day with a broken finger.

Wideman has registered six goals and 16 assists in 43 games this season, his first with the Flames after signing a five-year deal last June.

The team also said defenseman Chris Butler is battling the flu and that rearguard Mark Cundari has been recalled from Abbotsford of the American Hockey League.
