Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall has been fined $20,000 by the NFL for a horse collar tackle in Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to multiple reports.
Hall's tackle out of bounds on Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson drew a 15- yard penalty after a 14-yard play. The two players jawed afterward and during the next play before they were separated.
Hall will appeal the fine, the Washington Post reported.
The veteran corner was fined a total of $65,750 last season for three separate incidents, according to the Post, including one horse collar tackle.
Hall scored on a 75-yard fumble return Monday but the Redskins lost the game 33-27.
