Jacksonville, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed Cleveland Browns center Alex Mack to an offer sheet.
Terms were not disclosed, but NFL.com has reported it to be a five-year, $42 million deal with $18 million over the first two seasons. The Browns have five days to match.
Mack was designated Cleveland's transition player and was set to earn about $10 million under that tag. The Browns will not receive compensation if they decide not to match the offer.
The 28-year-old veteran was selected by the Browns with the 21st overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft and has started every game since his rookie season.
