Titans cut ties with K Bironas

Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Tennessee Titans have released veteran kicker Rob Bironas.

Bironas, an All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection in 2007, has spent his entire nine-year career with the Titans.

"We want to thank Rob for his nine years of service to the Titans," said Tennessee general manager Ruston Webster. "He has been an outstanding kicker and we appreciate him both for his contributions on the field and in our community."

Bironas was 25-for-29 on field goals last season and has connected on 239- of-279 over his career.
