St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - The St. Louis Rams have agreed to terms with free-agent defensive lineman Alex Carrington, the team announced Wednesday.
Terms were not disclosed, though the St. Louis Post Dispatch reported the deal to be for one year.
Carrington spent his previous four NFL seasons with Buffalo and started the first three games of the 2013 campaign prior to landing on injured reserve with a torn quadriceps. The 26-year-old has amassed 53 tackles and four sacks over 44 career games, including nine starts.
A third-round pick of Buffalo in the 2010 NFL Draft, Carrington was primarily used as an end in the Bills' 3-4 defense but is expected to play tackle in the Rams' 4-3 alignment.
