Steelers activate first-round pick DeCastro

Nashville, TN (Sports Network) - The Pittsburgh Steelers activated guard David DeCastro from the injured reserve list on Monday.

The Stanford product was selected with the 24th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, but has yet to suit up in a regular season game for the Steelers.

Pittsburgh placed DeCastro on injured reserve with a designation to return after he suffered a knee injury in the third game of the preseason,

The Steelers made another roster move on Monday as well, promoting offensive lineman John Malecki to the active roster.
