Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper and cornerback Cary Williams got into a scuffle at practice Thursday.

Cooper, of course, was excused from the team for a few days earlier this summer after a video surfaced of him using a racial slur at a concert.

Williams, a former Raven known for his aggressive play, was covering Cooper on the play during practice Thursday. The fracas occurred after Williams broke up a pass. Both players got up off the ground and immediately got into a scuffle.

Video of the confrontation, which was provided by CSN Philly, showed Williams continuing to jaw at Cooper after the fight. Quarterback Michael Vick tried to calm down the fiery Williams, before DeSean Jackson eventually walked Williams away from the situation.

Cooper told reporters after practice that the fight had nothing to do with the racial slur made earlier this summer. He added that he and Williams have mended fences.
