East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks will not play in Sunday's NFC East showdown with the Dallas Cowboys due to an abdominal strain.

Nicks, who had five catches for 114 yards in New York's Week 1 loss to the Cowboys in Dallas, had been listed as questionable for the contest and practiced sparingly during the week.

Rueben Randle will replace Nicks in the starting lineup for Sunday's critical divisional clash. The second-year pro also had a productive game in the teams' most recent meeting, totaling 101 yards on five catches.

The Giants enter the matchup on a four-game winning streak and currently sit a game back of the Cowboys for second place in the NFC East standings.
