Foxboro, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady returned to practice Thursday, a day after missing the club's initial workout for Sunday's AFC Championship Game because of an illness.
There was no concern Wednesday about Brady's participation in the highly anticipated matchup with Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. The three-time Super Bowl champ was on the practice field Thursday morning and was throwing warmup passes in the part of the session open to the media.
"It was nothing, I feel great," said Brady on Thursday afternoon. "I got back out there today and felt good."
Long snapper Danny Aiken was also back at practice after an illness absence Wednesday.
