Vikings sign Wootton

Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - The Minnesota Vikings have signed defensive lineman Corey Wootton.

Wootton spent the past four seasons with the Chicago Bears, who selected him in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

In 2013, Wootton started 15 of the 16 games he played, finishing with 34 tackles and three sacks. He is currently recovering from hip surgery.

The Northwestern product recorded 70 tackles and 11 sacks in 45 career games with the Bears.
