Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - Despite missing the final two preseason games, Blaine Gabbert will start at quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Gabbert was listed as questionable for Sunday's season opener due to a thumb injury.

The Missouri product started 10 games last year for the Jaguars and completed 162-of-278 passes for 1,662 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions.
